Two More Events Announced

Two more events have been announced for individuals.

Muscle-up Biathlon
Points Available: 100

400-meter run
18 muscle-ups
400-meter run
15 muscle-ups
400-meter run
12 muscle-ups

Each time the athlete breaks a set of muscle-ups they must run a 200-meter lap.

Sunday Morning Event Announced


On the final day of the CrossFit Games, the fittest men and women will go overhead and upside down in a sprint to the finish.

In the Midline March, competitors will complete 25 GHD sit-ups before kicking up into a handstand to walk 50 feet across the soccer field. Once they reach the 50-foot line, they'll pick up a barbell (155 lb. / 115 lb.), get it overhead and lunge another 50 feet.

Then they get to do it two more times for a total of three rounds.

Team Deadlift Event Announced


Early in the afternoon on Friday, July 25, teams will try to lift as much weight off the ground as possible.

All three men will enter the soccer stadium, and be given one barbell, a stack of weights, and just 6 minutes to establish each of their 1-rep-max deadlifts. Each man's 1-rep max will go toward the men's cumulative total. The men's cumulative total will be compared across all teams for one scored event.

Triples Chipper Announced

The Triples Chipper will test the teams—men first, then the women—in the soccer stadium on Saturday morning.

In teams of three, the teammates will work through three movements: heavy medicine-ball cleans (150 lb. / 80 lb.), muscle-ups and handstand push-ups.

The reps? 50, 50, and 100.
